Hazard: The product presents a high risk of electric shock as it contained only basic insulation and was supplied with a noncompliant plug.

Corrective action: The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (AliExpress).

The product presents a high risk of electric shock as the luminaire had metal parts insulated from live parts only by basic insulation. The insulation can break down over time, causing accessible metal parts to become live. If the owner were to touch the live part, they would receive an electric shock.

The product was also supplied with a noncompliant plug, and the lamp is rated for 125V only. The product was not supplied with the required markings, labelling and documentation.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (AliExpress).
